Allaahu laa ilaaha illa huwa al-hayyul-qayyuum * La ta’khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm * Lahumaa fissamaawaati wa maa fil-ard * Man dhal-ladhi yashfa’u ‘indahu illaa bi-idhnihi * Ya’lamu maa bayna aydeehim wa maa khalfahum * Wa laa yuheetoona bi-shay’in min ilmihi illa bimaa shaa * Wasi’a kursiyyuhu as-samaawaati wal-ard * Wa laa ya ooduhu hifzuhuma * Wa huwa al-‘aliyyul-azeem
Translation:
“Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and on the earth. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.”
