1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By booking an appointment with Ruqyah Central, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Client”) and Ruqyah Central (“we,” “us,” “our”).

2. SERVICES PROVIDED

2.1 Nature of Services

We provide Ruqyah therapy, spiritual counselling, and related healing services based on Islamic principles through the recitation of Quran and supplications. Services are available both in-person at our London location and online worldwide via secure video conferencing.

2.2 Professional Standards

Our services are complementary and should not replace conventional medical or psychiatric treatment. We recommend consulting healthcare professionals for serious medical or mental health conditions.

2.3 Therapeutic Process

  • Treatment outcomes depend on your active participation and engagement
  • Sessions may involve emotional discomfort as part of the healing process
  • Physical elements may include sprinkling of water on face and hands
  • No guarantees are made regarding specific outcomes or timeframes
  • Opinions expressed by practitioners are their own and not necessarily those of Ruqyah Central

3. BOOKING AND PAYMENT TERMS

3.1 Pricing (Subject to change – Please see bookings page for current pricing) 

  • Online Sessions: £50 per session
  • In-person Sessions: £60 per session
  • Discounted/Free Sessions: Discretionary

3.2 Payment

  • Payment is required at the time of booking unless alternative arrangements are agreed
  • We accept payments via Stripe, PayPal, and other approved methods
  • All prices include applicable taxes

3.3 Cancellation Policy

  • 48-hour notice required for cancellations or rescheduling, if appointment was booked within 48 hours then 24-hour notice required, if the appointment was booked within 24 hours then 2-hour notice is required
  • Cancellation fees: Full session fee for inadequate notice; £50 for discounted/free sessions
  • No-show policy: Full session fee applies for missed appointments without notice
  • Emergency cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis

4. ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

4.1 Supervision Requirement

IMPORTANT: Clients must be accompanied by another adult during all appointments (both in-person and online sessions). This policy ensures:

  • Client safety and wellbeing
  • Compliance with our safeguarding procedures
  • Maintenance of professional standards

4.2 Age Requirements

  • Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
  • Adult clients must bring a trusted family member or friend

5. CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY

5.1 General Confidentiality

All session content and treatment materials are held in strict confidence, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary for your safety.

5.2 Limitations to Confidentiality

We may disclose information without your consent in the following circumstances:

  1. Imminent danger: Risk of suicide, self-harm, or serious bodily harm
  2. Threat to others: Credible threats of violence or harm to third parties
  3. Child protection: Suspected abuse, neglect, or harm to minors under 18
  4. Vulnerable adult protection: Suspected abuse or neglect of elderly or vulnerable adults
  5. Legal obligations: Court orders or legal requirements
  6. Professional consultation: Anonymous consultation with other professionals for treatment purposes
  7. Court-ordered treatment: Information required for legal proceedings

5.3 Public Encounters

If we meet outside our professional setting, we will not acknowledge you first to protect your privacy. You may acknowledge us if you choose.

  • Active clients: Data retained for duration of treatment plus 7 years
  • Inactive clients: Records retained for 7 years from last contact
  • Legal requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by law

Primary contact methods are phone and email. We aim to respond within 48 hours during business days.

9.3 Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

9.4 Severability

If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining terms remain in full effect.

9.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
